INGREDIENTS:
  • 2 Cups of sugar
  • 1 Cup of light corn syrup
  • ½ Cup Water
  • 1 Cup of Butter ( 2 Sticks )
  • 2 Cups of raw peanuts chopped
  • 1 Teaspoon Baking Soda

PROCEDURE:
  1. Use a 3 quart sauce pan Stir in sugar, light corn syrup and water until dissolved
  2. When boiling starts blend in butter
  3. Stir frequently after temperature reaches 230 degrees
  4. Add peanuts at 280 degrees
  5. Stir continuously until temperature reaches 305 degrees
  6. Remove from heat
  7. Quickly stir in baking soda, mix well
  8. Pour onto 2 buttered cookie sheets
  9. Loosen from pan after harden
  10. Break up
  11. Makes 2.5 lbs.
