Santa’s Surprise Space Launch!

Oh no! Santa’s in Space!

This Thanksgiving, Santa’s sudden launch into space has left many elves worried about Christmas! Chip Elf, our Checker Champion, shared his concerns: “I don’t know how we’re going to get all these toys and games to the kids if Santa doesn’t come back,” he said, while happily hopping around on his checkerboard. “King me!”

Meanwhile, Jiller Elf is busy in the broadcast room trying to communicate with Santa’s spaceship. “We can get a signal, but it’s not very clear,” she explained. “Our broadcast room wasn’t set up for space communication, so we’re reaching out to different space agencies to help us track the shuttle. But what we really need is for everyone to check the skies! When you believe in Santa, you might just see him, even if he’s a mile up in space!”

The Mystery of the Space Shuttle!

Gizmo Elf, Santa’s Chief Inventor, cleared up the mystery of the unexpected rocket launch. “Santa and I were talking about the International Space Station last week, and he wondered when kids might go to space,” he said while scratching his ear with a 5/8” torque wrench. “So, I thought I’d build a rocket for him, just in case he ever needed it. I was going to call it The Santa Shuttle!”

Ali Elf, who was listening in, exclaimed, “You mean you built a spaceship over the weekend?”

Gizmo replied a bit defensively, “Well, I can’t work on it during the week. I’m busy with the Appendapulator! Besides, the thing’s not even finished yet. I don’t know why he launched it!”
